This position will be primarily responsible for representation, negotiation and closing of new and existing localization business, as well as to meet or exceed the revenue and profitability goals set. This position is also responsible for maintaining long-term relationships with new and existing customers. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Sales and Marketing / Chief Sales Officer.
New Business Responsibilities
Achieves agreed upon sales, revenue and gross profit margin goals through continuous initiative and involvement in new business activities, which include, but are not limited to:
- Review and qualify prospective customers for appropriateness to line of work
- Develop and review proposals for completeness, accuracy and correct representation of company standards
- Ensure projects are analyzed, defined, priced and submitted according to client RFPs and company pricing procedures
- Identify new business opportunities in strategic areas of growth for existing accounts
- Identify and sell new company services to existing and new accounts
- Maintain consistent visibility with key new prospects and existing accounts
Account Management Responsibilities
- Is responsible for overall relationship with new and assigned accounts
- Ensures thorough hand-offs to Project Managers and Production by clearly defining the proposed scope of work to insure successful completion of projects when awarded
- Participates in resolution of major account problems relative to quality, timeliness and cost
- Oversees prompt notification of budget changes to customers
- Represents Account Team and/or Company at key customer meetings, including going to customer¹s location for on-site reviews, postmortems and problem resolution
Other Responsibilities/Activities
- Attends conferences and trade shows as required
- Organizes and participates in industry presentations as required in the promotion of ENLASO
- Participates in development and implementation of visibility programs according to agreed upon budgets and objectives, including trade show attendance, advertising, PR and other visibility programs
- Ensures continuity of new and existing business prospecting
- Creates and maintains report and forecast on all new and potential business for both new and existing accounts to be communicated weekly to the Vice President, Sales and Marketing / Chief Sales Officer
- Achieves revenue goals from new/existing business and set revenue growth goals for each year with the Vice President, Sales and Marketing / Chief Sales Officer
Qualifications:
- BA/MA/MBA in management/sales or related field
- 2 plus years experience in localization, sales, business development, project and/or account management with direct customer contact
- Knowledge of localization industry, processes and tools
- Strong initiative, negotiation and sales ability
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both internal and external
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Occasional extensive travel required
