Localization and Translation Best Practices: Successfully Marketing Your Brand to a Global Audience

Date presented: 6/21/11
Cost: Complimentary
Duration: 1 Hour
Format: WebEx Recording

Webinar description

The Internet is your gateway to the global market place. Immediately after connecting your website to the World Wide Web, you have access to previously untapped markets. With the right marketing tools and tactics, every company, no matter how small or large, can make its products and services available to millions and millions of potential consumers worldwide.

In this webinar, Chris Raulf, ENLASO’s Marketing Manager, provides insights into the best practices needed for global marketing, including:

  • Which markets to consider,
  • What to translate and localize to reach those markets,
  • How to approach your localization project,
  • What the pro and cons are of doing-it-yourself vs. working with a localization vendor, and
  • How to prepare your website for multi-language Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Publishing authority and Adobe Community Expert Maxwell Hoffmann, Manager of Consulting and Training Services at ENLASO, rounds out the webinar with a short session on comparing publishing tools that are best suited for localizing multilingual marketing collateral.

Even if you are not yet ready to sell overseas, the information you take away from this webinar will help you better understand the tremendous opportunities that present themselves in marketing to the rapidly-growing Hispanic and Asian markets in the U.S.

This webinar targets anyone involved in global marketing, including Marketing Managers, Program Managers, Product Managers, Project Managers, Communication Managers, Documentation Managers, Webmasters, and Localization Project Managers.
