Webinar description
The “XML and Localization” webinar presents an overview of how XML (Extensible Markup Language) can be used in the localization process either as the original format of the content to localize or as a temporary medium to allow for a more efficient localization workflow.
In this presentation, Yves Savourel, ENLASO's Solutions Architect, discusses the role of XML in effective content internationalization and the opportunities XML provides for the standardization of the localization processes. He will also explain and discuss the associated content formats used with localization workflow processes such as XLIFF, TMX, and ITS.
This interactive presentation aims to provide attendees with a clear understanding of the role XML plays in improving the localization process. Yves will illustrate concrete examples and demonstrate several open source tools that assist the localization process.
